PROMOTION OF INNOVATIVE ACADEMIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP

                                                                   Participants
The programme entails the participation of 20 academics currently employed at higher education institutions who run or intend to run courses on innovative entrepreneurship in the nearest future. Candidates need not necessarily have completed an economic education as the indispensable elements of economic and financial input will be taught in the course of the training and advisory programme. What is of key importance to the programme is the will and determination of its participants to implement the teaching programme and make it a core module in the course structure of their home academic institution in the future.

Although participants are asked to apply individually, we have assumed that this will be done in agreement with the authorities of their home academic institution. The Rectors of those institutions who are given preference in the programme have been informed of the programme and asked to share the information with lecturers who might be interested in the undertaking and to encourage them to participate or to appoint candidates for instructors of innovative entrepreneurship.

There are two ways to apply to the programme:

  • Applicants are asked to complete the application form enclosed to the letter served to the Rector of the home academic institution and to send it to the following address: Attn: Prof. dr hab. Jerzy Cieślik, Wyższa Szkoła Przedsiębiorczości i Zarządzania im. L. Koźmińskiego, 03-301 Warszawa;
  •  Applicants are asked to complete and send an electronic application form available in the “Registration/Edit your data” bookmark.

In view of the limited number of participants in the pilot programme (only 20 instructors) placement will be determined on a first come first served basis, subject to the following rules:

  • Preference will be given to instructors who declare to run the pilot course in the summer term of the academic year 2006-2007;
  •  If more than one candidate from a given institutions applies to the programme, preference will be given to institutions wherefrom single candidates apply.

Applications must be received by 28 February 2007. For any additional information on the programme please contact Programme Head prof. dr hab. Jerzy Cieślik at: wykladowca@cieslik.edu.pl.
